Getting Started: Sign-Up and Login
Joining a 10XDirectories community is simple. On whichever local directory site you chose, you likely went through a quick sign-up process. Here’s a recap of how membership registration works:
- Create Your Account: Click the Join or Sign Up button on your local directory site. You’ll be prompted to enter basic details like your name, email address, and a password.
- Email Confirmation: After registering, you should receive a confirmation email. Click the verification link in that email to confirm your account. (This step helps us ensure the email on your account is valid.)
- Log In: Once confirmed, return to your local directory site and log in with the email and password you set. You can check “Keep me logged in” if you’re on a private device for easier access next time.
- Profile Setup Prompt: Upon first login, the site may prompt you to start building your member profile or business listing (more on that below).
Logging in on Other Devices: You can access your account from any computer or smartphone by visiting the same community site and clicking Login. Use your registered email and password. If you forget your password, use the “Forgot Password” link to reset it via email.
Multiple Communities: If you operate in multiple areas, you’re welcome to join more than one 10XDirectories directory. Just remember that each local directory is a separate site, so you’d create a new account on each one you join. (We’re working on future improvements for single sign-on, but for now accounts are unique per community.)
