Membership Plans, Billing & Renewal

One thing that makes 10XDirectories communities unique is our incredibly affordable membership model. Here’s what to expect regarding the $10/year plan and any related billing matters:

  • Flat Annual Fee: A standard membership (which gives you a verified business listing and full access to features) costs just $10 per year. There are no hidden monthly charges – it’s a simple yearly price that’s less than $1 a month. We chose this low fee to make sure any business can join without financial barrier. The price is the same across all our local directories.

  • Payment Process: When you first join, you likely paid the $10 online via our secure checkout. We accept major credit/debit cards (and in some communities other methods like PayPal). Payment processing is encrypted and secure. If you haven’t paid yet (for example, if you created an account during a free trial period or a special promotion), be sure to complete payment by the due date indicated on your account to keep your membership active.

  • Renewal Cycle: Membership runs for one year from the date you paid. Renewals are annual. You will be notified when your renewal date is approaching. Depending on the site, the renewal might be automatic (if you opted for auto-renew and your payment method is still valid) or manual (you’ll receive a reminder email with a link to renew). In either case, you’ll get advance notice. We don’t believe in surprise charges – transparency is important.

  • Updating Payment Info: If your credit card expires or you want to use a different payment method for renewal, go to the Billing section in your account settings (or the equivalent page on your directory site). There you can update your card on file or switch auto-renew on/off. If you run into any issues updating details, our support team can assist.

  • **Non-Renewal or Cancellation: **We certainly hope you stay with us, but you’re not locked in by any long-term contract. If you decide not to renew for a subsequent year, your listing will typically revert to a basic status after your paid period ends. “Basic status” means your profile might become unverified or even hidden/removed from public view (policies can vary by community). We’ll usually keep your account info on file for a while in case you change your mind and want to rejoin. To cancel an upcoming renewal, you can turn off auto-renew in your account or contact support to ensure you won’t be charged for the next period. (No refunds are needed for cancellation – if you cancel, your membership simply runs until the end of the paid term and then expires.)

  • Upgrades or Add-Ons: Currently, the $10/year plan is all-inclusive for core features. We do offer occasional optional upgrades – for example, some communities might have a “Featured Listing” upgrade that lets you appear prominently on the homepage or top of search results for an extra fee. These upgrades are totally optional and not required to enjoy the platform. We will always make it clear if something costs extra, and it’s your choice whether to utilize any add-on. Your standard membership is fully functional on its own.

Our goal with the billing setup is to keep things affordable, transparent, and fair. $10/year is not an introductory rate or a gimmick – it’s central to our mission (more on that in the FAQ below!). There are no upsells required to make the platform work for you. We’re happy to have you as part of our community for as long as you find value here, and we’ve made renewing straightforward and stress-free.
